Terminology

The National Playbook is a tool to help both new and established teams. For new teams it provides an opportunity to have in place a playbook that is complete and and ready to use. For existing teams it provides terminology which is used at National level, this ensures that when players go to trials for Allstar and National teams they are able to understand the terminology used by the coaches.

For some time now coaches on National and International teams are have had to explain terminology, players then have to adjust to this which can result in slower reaction time and a waste of time in preparation of practice sessions. We are not asking teams to change their playbook we are asking teams to adopt a common terminology.
